1. About Afrikainme

Afrikainme is a marketplace connecting customers worldwide with named African artisans. We facilitate made-to-order commissions, payments, and fulfilment. Each product listing identifies the maker, origin, and lead time.

2. Orders & made-to-order items

Most pieces are crafted after you order. Lead times shown on product pages are estimates, not guarantees. We will notify you if an artisan needs additional time. Custom commissions and bulk orders may require separate agreements.

3. Pricing & payment

Prices are displayed in the store currency at checkout. Payment is processed securely via PayPal or other enabled methods. An order is confirmed only after successful payment. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors before fulfilment.

4. Your responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate contact and shipping details, review size and colour selections carefully, and communicate any customisation requests in the customer note field or via our support team before payment where possible.

5. Intellectual property

Product designs, photography, copy, and the Afrikainme brand remain our property or that of our artisan partners. You may not reproduce, resell, or commercially exploit site content without written permission.

6. Limitation of liability

Afrikainme is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from delays, customs holds, or events outside our reasonable control. Our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
